Event Description - Kansas City in the Global Economy
Following a welcome from Consul Prado and a brief explanation of the role of the Mexican Consulate in Kansas City, the speakers will provide an in-depth overview of Kansas City’s growing interactions in the global economy. Regina Heise will profile the export industry in the region from her perspective as director of the Export Assistance Center. Tina Roth will share her varied experiences in international trade working for Hallmark Cards, Sanofi-Aventis, and Scarborough International. And Jody Edgerton will share exciting news about a major international business opportunity coming to the United States for the first time ever and its choice of Kansas City as the host for this event.
