PREP-KC was founded in 2005 as Kansas City’s urban education intermediary while providing an opportunity to join together with partner organizations to focus resources on a long-standing barrier to the city’s economic progress.
PREP-KC has developed highly-accountable partnerships with Kansas City’s urban school districts. Results achieved to date include increases in high school math proficiency, increases in the percentage of high school students completing college courses, and increases in post secondary enrollment.
